As part of our support to our partners, we support and sell products from this Italian Measuring instruments Rover Instruments Co.
The company operates with two business divisions, which implement the same basic technology, but develop products for different applications: measuring instruments for antenna installers and equipment for the distribution and monitoring of broadcasting networks. ROVER has always paid special attention to the quality of its products, investing in advanced technology and making sure that it is always “a step ahead”.
The structure is equipped to carry out EEC (CE) tests, both for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and safety compliance. ROVER also organizes technical seminars and roadshows both at its customer’s premises and at its headquarters in Italy.
Founded in 1972, ROVER Laboratories S.p.A. has always operated in the world of radio and television. From the very beginning the founder of the company invested heavily in technology. Knowledge of radiofrequencies, especially microwave, followed by satellite technologies, has allowed ROVER to develop highly professional products for radio, television, satellite and cable TV signals.
In the last decade the digital and computer revolution entered strongly into the world of radio and television broadcasting, but ROVER was prepared and had, in the meantime, made large investments in the new, emerging, digital technologies. Modulations such as QPSK, QAM, 8VSB, COFDM, 8PSK and 16APSK became familiar to ROVER technicians, allowing them to develop highly professional products, both for the markets of field analyzers and broadcasting equipment for the reception, demodulation and monitoring of TV and SAT signals.
Over the last few years the Firmware laboratory has been expanded and can, at present, quickly develop new digital designs with different features and configurations to fulfil all emerging market requests.
